  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • ½ small red onion
  • 1 lime, for juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Tortilla chips (optional for serving)


  1. Remove and discard seeds and pulp from tomatoes; chop tomatoes finely (about 3 cups) and place in medium bowl.
  2. Chop bell pepper and onion; add to bowl with tomatoes.
  3. Squeeze lime juice over tomato mixture and season with salt; toss to coat. Serve with tortilla chips, if using.
